Southern Pacific's "San Joaquin Daylight" awaits departure from Oakland's East Bay Pier/Ferry Slip (also known as the "Mole") during the early 1950s. The SP steam engine will carry the train southbound via the San Joaquin Valley via Fresno to Los Angeles.
